Allergy

Many people are affected by allergies. For them, dealing with the allergy is part of their everyday life.

Description

The allergy object is needed for different situations:

– Handling of allergy
– Medical interventions
– Acute situations

Use

– Immune reaction
– Classification of allergy
– Evaluate and control reactions
– Record of exactly one allergy

Not use

– Non-immune reaction, including pseudo allergic reaction, side effect, intolerance, drug toxicity, drug-drug interaction, food-drug interaction, drug-disease interaction and idiosyncratic reaction
– Diary entries
– Documentation of more allergies per object

Rules

The allergy object is only used in case of an allergy, not to document a non-existing allergy.

For the record it is necessary to save the AllergyType and the Reaction.

For saving the AllergyType either the Substance in case of drug allergy or the allergen in case of other immune allergies is needed.

Parameter Codes

Not needed for allergy object.

Enums

The Reaction, ReactionType, Certainty, Class/category and Subclass/Subcategory are based on coded entries. Therefore it is possible to deposit different catalogs.

In the case of not using a standard catalog the following lists gives a list of possible entries with name and code/ID.
